My sis found a really old bookmark of mine. The front looks as good as new but the back has yellow stains all over. I remember buying this bookmark from MPH Bangsar Baru. Yes, back when MPH Bangsar Baru still existed and was the place to be.
It was cool to hang out after school at MPH on a Friday afternoon with friends. My school mates would be 'lepakking' outside McDonald's Bangsar Baru. Anyway, here's the little poem printed on the bookmark. Hope it makes you smile too :)
--A SMILE by JILL WOLF--
There's something you may give
A friend and stranger, too;
It seems that when you give it,
It's given back to you.
This gift is worth a million,
But doesn't cost a dime;
It's lasting in effect,
But doesn't take much time.
This simple little gesture
Can make the day worthwhile;
It's just as good as sunshine--
It's what we call a smile.
